![]() Other qt photo jpeg exports that i made from aftereffects did not do that: info reads correctly, and goes into ame properly. That video, when taken into ame stretches out…. The info reads that it is not the size that i asked to be exported. ![]() Those videos that I export from fcp 7 (exported as a qt conversion photo jpeg), the actual size of the exported video is correct when viewing just on the screen, but when I look at the ‘info’ it reads that it is very wide. Has this only started happening since installing Mavericks on a mac?ĭidnt ever do before when i was running it in snow leopard.Īlso noticed if you quit it, and restart it, sometimes it stops doing that….sometimes.ĭoes it on my photo jpegs that i export from fcp7. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. The settings are the same, yet the Media Encoder video is stretched. The window on the right is from Media Encoder. The window on the left is the Export screen from Premiere in which everything is correct. I’m afraid this sounds a bit convoluted so I’m uploading a screenshot of the Export windows. I can still export out of Premiere with no issues. All settings are identical as far as I can tell (including scale to fit). Rather than being letterboxed and reading as square pixels, it’s now reading as rectangular but stretching the footage out significantly and cropping the edges off. It appears that it has simply changed the nature of the problem. I recently upgraded to 7.2 hoping it would fix the problem. I eventually found that Media Encoder was for some reason interpreting the SD NTSC footage as having Square (1.0) pixels instead of rectangular (0.91). My presets hadn’t changed, and when I exported directly out of Premiere with the same settings everything was perfectly fine. However, when I updated to 7.1 I noticed that all of the Ki Pro footage was being squished and letterboxed. I edit in Premiere and then export several different files for delivery from Media Encoder. The program I edit is shot in SD NTSC recorded on AJA Ki Pro Rack in ProRes 422. The issue I’m having is, to my mind at least, a bit bizarre. This is my first post here (despite being a long time follower of the COW).
